The connection between the majestic voyaging canoes of the past and the Moai statues on Easter Island in terms of Polynesian technology will be the focus of an upcoming NOVA-PBS project, which starts filming on the Island next week. The three OC6 outriggers on the Island will be featured prominently and the first Rapa Nui Open Water Holokai on Sunday, April 26, will appear as part of the program.
